Description
What started as a little idea to keep my “fast finishers” challenged and engaged after finishing with their Math Tubs quickly turned into a fun activity my entire class LOVED! Math Missions were created to keep my kids excited about math and engaged in learning…and excited they were!
This packet includes 200 Math “Missions” organized by domain {Counting & Cardinality, Numbers & Operations in Base 10, Operations & Algebraic Thinking, Measurement & Data, and Geometry}
Your little Math Detectives can earn Math Mission “badges” after collecting 10 fingerprints {10 completed missions!} Your little detectives will keep track of their work and progress in their very own Top Secret Math Mission notebook. This fun little activity is a great way to assess learning and plan for small group intervention/reteaching.
You can read MORE about this packet and see some of the “missions” on my blog: http://thefirstgradeparade.blogspot.com/2013/08/your-missionshould-you-choose-to-accept.html
The missions were created for a Kindergarten classroom, but would be appropriate for review in 1st grade as well.
Please click on the “PREVIEW” for a closer look into this packet 🙂 Thanks so much!
