♥️I post the same thing every year on our anni

♥️I post the same thing every year on our anniversary, but that’s because the sentiment stays the same. Marriage is our greatest adventure & I love experiencing every up and down with my best friend.♥️

19 years ago today, we were just a couple of kids who stood before God and our families & friends and vowed to one another, "for better or worse". Since the day we said "I do", we've had our fair share of both.

We've laughed...and we've cried.
We've agreed...and we've fought.
We've rejoiced at new births...and we've mourned through deaths.
We've stayed up all night talking...and we've gone days without talking at all.
We've shared...and we've withheld.
We've praised...and we've criticized.
We've forgiven...and we've held grudges.
We've been understanding....and we've been inconsiderate.
We've been patient...and we've been intolerant.
We've been generous with our compassion....and we've been selfish with our grace.
We haven't been able to get enough of each other....and we've driven each other crazy.

Ours is not always a “love story” worthy of retelling. Our stubbornness has found us both on the losing side of battles we were never meant to fight. We’ve argued to the point of tears and sentenced each other to days of silent treatments more than I care to count. We’ve been petty & ridiculous and if history repeats itself then I’m sure we’ll have more of these moments in the days and years to come.

But I love us. Every part of us. Even the memories that don’t show up in the highlight reel of our story. It’s what makes us us and what makes our love story my favorite of them all❤.

We've loved...and keep loving....and will keep loving still.
And we've done it all together❤️
For better or worse.
Together.
Forever.
There's no one else I'd rather have by my side.

My greatest joy in life is being mom to these two. I don’t deserve them, TRUST. But goodness am I grateful they’re mine.

I will never be a perfect parent. Ever. But I pray that I will always be a safe place for them to land. A listening ear that seeks to understand. A compassionate heart that empathizes with their circumstances. A spirit of forgiveness that sprinkles grace like confetti.

I will forever be their biggest cheerleader in anything and everything they do. And I pray they know how much they are loved every minute of every day.

I am so very proud to be their mom and so incredibly grateful to call them mine. Hands down, the greatest honor and joy of my life ❤️
