Harvest some literacy fun & excitement with this packet full of hands-on games & activities!

Games & Objectives include:
*Pumpkin Pickin’ – identifying beginning & ending sounds/letter identification
*Syllable Seeds – identifying & sorting 1/2/3/4 syllable words
*Sound Toss – identifying objects with the same beginning sounds
*Bats in the Cave – identifying rhyming vs. non-rhyming pairs
*Candy Corn Cover Up – creating & identifying rhyming words
*You Can’t Scare Me! – Alphabetical Order/Letters closest to A and/or Z
*Spin, Blend, & Graph – blending onset rimes & phonemes; identifying real & nonsense words
*Vampire Vowels – identifying & sorting medial vowel sounds, short vowel identification
*Silly CVC Words – making real & nonsense CVC words

These activities were created with the Kindergarten class in mind, but they would be a great challenge for Pre-K kids and a good review and/or intervention piece for 1st grade.
