Can somebody tell me how it’s almost the 100th day of school?! I’m not complaining. Trust me. But really?! I feel like the years just go by quicker and quicker! I’m sure y’all are like me on the 100th day. Scrambling around like a chicken with your head cut off trying desperately to fit everything in you have planned. I guess I tend to OVERplan. Not the worst thing I could do, but I always feel so let down after it’s all said and done because I just don’t have enough hours in the day to do it all!!! So this year I decided to spend the entire week leading up to the 100th day doing lots of 100 themed projects. I mean, I REALLY want the 100th day to be a celebration because y’all…it’s kind of a big deal. And my kids are SO excited to celebrate. I mean, over the moon THRILLED!!!!! Our hundredth day is Friday and we’re working through our projects to prep for the big day. Eeeek!! It’s almost here! Here’s an idea of how we’re spending the week and celebrating the 100th day… LOVING this poem…our current poem of the week! {via Little Cats Kindergarten} These are some of my most favorite 100 day hats. I’ll be back after the 100th day to show you which one we created. Anything by Kelly is amazing and this one is no exception. {via Teacher Idea Factory} This one’s pretty darn cute, too. Love that they have to make 10 groups of 10 with this. We are SO excited to bundle our final group of 10 on Friday before adding a hundreds block! {via Summer Days21} I love this one, too. Would be so fun for the kids to make. {find the original pin HERE} I like this one from Kinder-Craze, too! This would be awesome for a little fine motor activity!! Cute to boot, too! {via Kinder Craze} Here’s the one we created when I taught first grade. Find it HERE. Love, love, LOVING these collaborative 100th day collages!! I mean, you could really do this with just about anything! 1. Popcorn Bucket {I’d use paper popcorn}/2. Pizza/3. Ice Cream Scoops/ 4.Cupcake Sprinkles/5. Gumballs/6. Spots on a Monster We made this giant Chocolate Chip Cookie for my “smart cookies” last year. I love both of these little art projects. These would be great for the 100th day OR a fun little 100th day family homework project. 1. Dot Sticker Art/ 2. 100 Creation from Mrs. Morrow’s Kindergarten Blog Technically I’m pretty covered in this area, but this is hilarious nonetheless! In my case, my kids would actually have to give me brown hairs…there are PLENTY of grays to be had!! HA! {via} How fun are these 100 day building activities for the kids?! Love! 1. Cup Structure/ 2. Marshmallow & Toothpick Creation/ 3. Legos!/ 4.100th Day Pattern Blocks And I can already tell you that this is ready to go for Friday! Thank goodness because I’ve eaten my weight in kisses these last few days! {via Mrs. Hodge & Her Kindergarten Kids} Since it’s a celebration, snacks are a must. {via Smith Safari} {via} Wanna know more about what we’ve done in Room 206 for the 100th day?! You can read all about our 100th day in Kindergarten last year…just click on the pic below! My dear friend, Erica Bohrer at Erica’s Ed-Ventures recently wrote a little post about her favorite 100th Day activities and ideas. Click on the pic below to check it out! I can’t wait to share with you this year’s fun!! We’re so excited we can hardly stand it!!!

Thanks for sharing all of the ideas. Our 100th day keeps being adjusted due to snow days. We are doing it Monday.

What a great collection of ideas for the 100th day. I think it would be so great if someone did a 100th day linky. If there is already one out there, I would love someone to point me in the right direction!
