✨SENIOR PARENTS✨ Here’s another fun idea for ✨SENIOR PARENTS✨
Here’s another fun idea for your class of ‘27 senior!

27 treats. 27 puns. 1 last first day. Equal parts snacks + encouragement + fun ❤️A great little send off as we launch them into the last year of high school!

Your senior already had their first day?! Maybe just treat them to one (or a few treats) on the 27th of each month! Or every 27 days. Or just once a week until graduation! Don’t overthink it🫶🏻

Can’t read that fast?! Me either 🤣 You can pause if you need! Just press + hold the screen to pause 💕 Release to keep watching!

🌅SENIOR SUNRISE 🌅 And so another senior sea 🌅SENIOR SUNRISE 🌅
And so another senior season begins 🥹🫶🏻. Hold on, mamas (and dads, too of course). We’ll blink and it’ll be graduation, so soak it all in!

Back to back senior years are not for the faint of heart🥹🫶🏻❤️Not quite ready for this season of parenting to start nearing the end. Let’s all hold hands together 🥹
📣The link to the download for the frame templat 📣The link to the download for the frame template IS IN MY SENIOR YEAR HIGHLIGHT📣Ifyou have a senior this year, steal this idea. 🤍

Last year, I started leaving Landon a “Senior MOMent of the Day” on a sticky note every morning before school. And this year I get to continue the tradition with Grant 🫶🏻 🙌🏼

The idea is simple, but makes a big impact. Nothing fancy or time consuming. Just a daily handwritten sticky note adhered to a frame. Sometimes it was advice. Sometimes encouragement. Sometimes a reminder. Sometimes something funny. And sometimes just a few words I wanted to make sure he heard from me before he walked out the door.

The notes ranged from daily encouragement to a joke of the day, to “on this day” fun facts, to senior reminders and bible verses. I used large sticky notes and dated each one including the school day as well (day 100, etc). Each morning, I’d reach into his room and adhere the new note to his “Senior MOMent” frame, he’d read it before starting his day, and then at night he’d transfer the notes to a blank journal.

By the end of the year, all of those little sticky notes had turned into a journal full of personal senior year MOMents❤️🥹. A whole lot of things I wanted him to carry long after it was over. And when we moved him into college this weekend, that journal went with him 🥹 If he ever needs a little encouragement, a reminder of how much he’s loved, or even a little something to make him laugh, he’s got a year’s worth at his fingertips🫶🏻

I loved that this little tradition gave me one small, intentional way to start his day with something good during a year that goes by WAY faster than I was prepared for. And he really loved it, too ❤️ It gives me a little bit of comfort to know he has a book full of reminders from home whenever he needs one.

So if your baby just started senior year or is getting ready to start soon, consider this your sign ❤️You don’t have to come up with anything profound (trust me, I didn’t🤣). Just tell them what you want them to know…as sweet/sentimental/encouraging/funny/random/benign as it may be ❤️. They’ll appreciate it more than you know!

Hold on tight…it goes fast!!!

And just like that, we left a piece of our hearts And just like that, we left a piece of our hearts in Fayetteville 🥹❤️

I knew this day was coming. We’ve talked about it, planned for it, shopped for it, packed for it…& somehow none of that prepared me for actually driving away without him 😭 Zero stars. 10/10 do not recommend, lol.

This is exactly what we raised him to do. I know that. And I’m so incredibly proud of the young man we’re leaving at his new home away from home. I’m so excited for him. So ready to watch him figure out who he is outside of the four walls of our home. He is ready 🙌🏼. It’s just that 19 years went by WAY too fast.

What a strange privilege motherhood is, am I right?! To spend your whole life preparing them to leave you & then be completely heartbroken when they’re brave enough to do it. Holding both the joy of watching him go & the ache of having to let him is quite the gut punch ❤️

Go do big things, Landon. Find your people. Try new things. Work hard. Make good choices. Call your family. Please, for the love of God, wash your sheets every once in a while😜 And remember there will never be a single place you could go where you aren’t loved all the way from home 🫶🏻🤟🏼

Fayetteville has one of my very favorite people now. Take good care of him, please ❤️🐗 WOO PIG!!!!

He was the GOODEST boy. My bestest friend. The most (spoiled) rotten in all the land. Naughty. Stubborn. Hilarious. Lovable. Snuggly. Chaotic. Sweet. And so dang good. A personality bigger than life itself.

Our sweetest good boy crossed the rainbow bridge in a cruel & and unexpected turn this week and our hearts and home will never be the same. We loved him so very much and he loved us fiercely his whole lifetime. What did we ever do to deserve such a perfect dog??😭

🎶“I never knew me a better dog and I guess I never will”🐾🎶

Rest easy, my sweet boy 😭🌈 (we promise we’ll never let the cat inside).
