Meet me under the mistletoe….but only for some math fun!!! This packet is full of hands-on activities to get your littles engaged in math. Each math tub activity includes an “I Can” statement mini-poster to be displayed/included in/with the activity. Recording/Assessment sheets are also included with every activity.

*Keep Your Hands Off Santa’s Cookies! – Sorting numbers that are greater than 20/less than 20}
*Santa’s Sequencing – Ordering a set of 3 random numbers from least to greatest and/or greatest to least
*Buttons for Gingerbread – Simple addition matching activity with picture cues
*Santa Sorting – Students sort even & odd number cards accordingly
*Santa Skip Counting – Counting by 1’s to 20 and skip counting by 5’s & 10’s to 100
*Tally Treats – Matching numerals to sets of tallies {1-20}
*Goody Gumdrop – 2 player partner game. Students play to find the greatest number.
*Stocking Sizes – non-standard units of measurement to determine length of various sized stockings
*Christmas Counting – Matching numerals, number words, tens frames, and simple number sentences
*How Many Marshmallows? – One-to-one correspondence & rote counting
*Present Pickin’ – Students determine the numbers that come before and after a given number.
